So, on his special day, he did not send invitations to any female. He did not feel the need to have a girlfriend by his side or even bask in the glory of any other female company. Incidentally, Katrina is in London to celebrate Christmas and New Year with her family. Salman has invited only his close male friends. Bollywood Hot Sizzling Veer Stars Salman Khan’s large-hearted gestures aren’t new to Bollywood, and now even the firangs are getting a ‘taste’ of his spontaneous actions Recently, Sallu decided to have some ice-cream after he finished shooting a song for Bollywood Hot Upcoming Movies 2009 Veer in London.
Now, the actor not being the kind to enjoy an ice-cream on his own decided to treat the cast and the crew too. There were no less than 600 members on the sets, which included junior artistes as well as some local college kids who had participated in the shoot. But the number wasn’t a worry for Salman.
Producer Vijay Galani says, “We had many ice-cream vendors as part of the set that we had put up on a college campus. Once the shooting was done Salman bought the ice-cream from these guys and distributed it around.” What followed, was a huge ice-cream party that lasted way after pack up. Says a unit member, “He distributed 145 to 150 ice-creams to the foreign junior artists and they were, obviously, super impressed with him.” Now that’s one ‘cool’ act, isn’t it?

Salman Khan, the macho man of Bollywood who plays the lead in Anil Sharma’s Bollywood Upcoming Movie ‘Veer’, forced Bollywood Hot Sizzling Actressleading ladyZarine Khan to eat chocolates to gain more weight.
In fact, Salman Khan, knowing full well the aversion of Bollywood beauties towards gaining weight, made it a point to get the whole thing written in Zarine Khan’s contract before casting her opposite himself. Sources say that as Zarine Khan plays the character of a princess in eighteenth century, Salman Khan personally supervised her chocolate diets and ensured that she gained weight.
Finally, Sallubhai’s game plan succeeded and Zarine Khan, who weighed only 54 kg before, ended up gaining eight kilos more. This has made the gorgeous bollywood babe not only buxom, but also curvaceous, as was the general trend during the times of Pindaris.
Sources close to Salman Khan say that director Anil Sharma was made to wait for three months for Zarine Khan, when she had been put on a diet of cakes, pastries and chocolates by macho Khan. Anil Sharma could start shooting only after that but result was fantastic.
In fact, Zarine had changed completely and instead of looking reed thin, she was now perfectly suitable for the character of Princess Yashodhara, that she enacts in the flick. Now, Zarine is looking full- bodied with fat on the right places, as would have been the case during British India.
Not only in the looks department of Zarine Khan, but Salman Khan also took care that the songs of the flick had a feel of eighteenth century India. The music directors Sajid-Wajid had especially been instructed by Sallubhai to keep this factor in mind while composing the music. The music was launched recently and it sounded perfectly in sync with the storyline of the flick.
The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that Bollywood Hot Sizzling Spicy Babe Katrina Kaif had denied the offer of ‘Veer’ due to this weight-gain factor. Sources point out that Katrina Kaif was averse to gaining weight for the character of Princess as that would have affected her roles in other movies. She would not have been able to shoot simultaneously for other producers if she had gained weight for Salman Khan’s ‘Veer’. Finally, she thought it wiser to refuse the flick than create problems for other producers.
It may be recalled that Salman Khan decided on Zarine Khan as she looked much like Katrina Kaif. In fact, at that time she was enacting the part of Katrina Kaif’s double in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Yuvvraaj’, when Salman spotted and decided upon her.
Bollywood Hot Actor Ajay Devgan turned a ticket seller at a movie hall here to promote his Bollywood Upcoming Movie 2009'London Dreams'.
He took part in a unique promotional campaign by occupying the ticket seller's seat and sold tickets at the Galaxy Theatre located in Bandra, Mumbai.
Hundreds of moviegoers and fans lined up to for the advance booking of the film.
The actor was not present when a similar promotional event of the film took place in New Delhi. Bollywood Hot ActorSalman Khan, the film's other lead actor, sold the tickets.
"As the film is about to be released, we are promoting it so that people come to know about it and can go and watch the film," said Devgan.
The fan frenzy almost got out of hand at times and the police had to control the crowd. They had queued up outside the ticket counter to catch a glimpse of their favorite actor. He actor felt quite mesmerized to see such huge rush of his fan followers.
"I think it was a different experience. I was feeling good after seeing their enthusiasm. So it was a great feeling," he added.
He obliged the autograph hunters as well as affixed his autograph on every ticket that he sold which the fans may retain as a souvenir.
Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, 'London Dreams' is a story of two friends who drift apart because one of them gets fame and the other does not.
Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan are playing the role of two talented musicians from Punjab making it big in England.
