Bollywood Bold Actor Sanjay Dutt quits as SP general secretary.
Following his mentor Amar Singh, Sanjay Dutt tonight resigned as the General Secretarty of Samajwadi Party claiming he was hurt by the treatment meted out to his "elder brother" by certain leaders of the party.
"When the Supreme Court did not give me chance to contest Lok Sabha elections, Amar Singh made me the general secretary of the party. He had said both of us will work for the party from the same position," Dutt told a hurriedly-called press conference here.
"If he is no more the General Secretary, I am also quitting the post today," Dutt said.
He, however, said he would remain in the party as long as Amar Singh is there.
He said despite slogging for the party in his poor health condition, certain leaders of SP mistreated Singh.
Bollywood Hot Actor Vivek Oberoi, who recently turned vegetarian, has been hailed as "the real hero for all animals" by the animal welfare organization PETA.
After learning that Oberoi has gone the veggie way, members of the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India sent a gift to the actor thanking him for his kind choice.
"By going vegetarian, Vivek Oberoi has proved that he is a real hero for all animals", PETA's Campaign Coordinator Nikunj Sharma said in a statement.
"Kicking the meat habit is the best thing that anyone can do for animals, their own health and the Earth," Sharma added.
Oberoi reportedly left eating meat after being persuaded by his Kurbaan co-star Kareena Kapoor who is a strict vegan. Another Bollywood heartthrob, who prefers vegetables over meat, is Shahid Kapoor.
Bollywood's Shahenshah Hot Superstar Amitabh Bachchan completes 40 years.

Ahead of the release of his new film "3 Idiots", Bollywood Hot actor Aamir Khan Thursday drew a distinction between the term "idiotsand "stupid”, saying that "idiots are very normal persons" who at some point prove themselves in an "unconventional way".
At an event in a city hotel to promote the first song of Rajkumar Hirani's "3 idiots", Aamir said: "Idiots are thought to be very normal persons but at some point of time they prove themselves to be someone with extra caliber. They are not stupid; rather they come to limelight in an unconventional way."
Actor R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi were also present at the screening of the song "Jab life ho out of control, all is well".
There are five songs in the film.
"3 idiots" is a story of three engineering students - Sharman Joshi, Aamir Khan and R. Madhavan - and their experiences on the campus.
Bollywood Hot Actress Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani play important roles and Kajol makes a special appearance in the film. The campus shown in the film is of the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A).

So what's the reason for this Kapoor boy's popularity?
Ranbir tells a daily, "I really don't know if I should be thankful or apologetic about it. I guess it's also because of the multiplex strike that three films of mine are releasing back to back. But I will make a conscious effort next time to space my releases."

If Ranbir has created a buzz it's because we have targeted the demography of the youth and we all know that the youth dictates a large section of viewing audiences today. It's all about youth power."
Surprisingly, Karan's best friend Shah Rukh is seen at the bottom of the list. KJo defends SRK, "Shah Rukh is above any ratings. He won't come under any ratings. He is a national and international icon and not to be put into these ratings. Which product won't sell if Shah Rukh endorses it? He's almost the face of the entertainment world above and beyond ratings."
